A bit tricky to load the windows disc, but otherwise it rates as excellent and good value.
This is a fantastic photo-editor, but only if you have a tutorial to go with it. Check out the help videos on YouTube). It will take some trial and error to be able to use the many features. Buy this only if you have some prior experience with editing and are willing to put spend time learning how to use Photoshop Elements 12. You will be gratified and use it for many years.

Terrible experience. Purchased the software in a factory-sealed box. Registered with Adobe. Installed software from disk. When the system reloaded, my Dell computer crashed. $140.00 to get the operating system reinstalled. lost some data. The computer store told me that the new operating system installation with support this software. Guaranteed that it will work, if not, they will re-install the software. installed the software again, the system crashed. I took the box and discs and threw them in the trash. Challenge to install on Windows 7
This is an older version of Photoshop Elements, which most buyers will intend to use on a pre- Windows 10 system. Although the packaging states that it can be installed on Windows 7, doing so is not straightforward. The sign-in / activation feature does not work out of the box. To fix the problem, a change in the registry to enable TLS 1.2 is required. Easy and fun to use.
I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements for several years and this is the third version I have purchased. It has something for everyone, from novice to advanced. There is a bit of a learning curve for the more advanced options if you aren't familiar with layers, etc. But it is so easy to just use the automatic options if you want to do basic stuff.
