highway robbery for only rack that fits
These racks are of good quality but are certainly way overpriced and somewhat difficult to install. Sabaru has forced 2017 Sabaru Touring owners to purchase this expensive rack as it is the ONLY one that fits the vehicle. I would be happy with the product if the price were fair.

This is a specially designed rack specifically for the Subaru Outback Touring. While I understand the uniqueness of the design, it is expensive to the extreme. If there had been another option, I would have purchased it. So, instead of paying the extreme, I was fortunate to find it on eBay. Thank goodness for eBay.

Perfect fit to Outback Touring rails
Aero style bars quiet on the road. Easy to assemble and install on the vehicle. Only complaint is the plastic end caps on the bars do not attach as firmly as I would like, but unless abused, should be okay. Note this only fits the 2017 touring edition rails. Other models have a different style rack that will need a different adapter.

Not a perfect fit
These crossbars are not a perfect fit on my 2019 Outback. Installing was a royal pain. The secret is to not over tighten them. I wish that Subaru made their own crossbars. Also, I was not able to install the locking covers. It was virtually impossible. I think that these crossbars probably fit earlier models of Outbacks better.
