Lights Up The Road
Works great on my helmet. I used zip ties instead of the included velcro strap. In the summer months most of my riding is 1AM - 4AM. I typically ride a 30 mile route. What I found is having a light on the helmet deters dogs from chasing me. They don't like a light shining on them. I live in Texas the greatest state in the union where the roads are flat and coyotes rule the road at night. For daytime road riding the quick release on the mount allows for removal of the light so you don't look like a complete nerd to other cyclists. Good to supplement any E-bike.
I needed a way to mount on road bars for an E- bike due to regular mount not fitting diameter of road bars, it worked OK. What would be better would be if cygolite made a mount that goes up to 1&1/2 inches in diameter to accomadate E- bike bars as they get more popular. My E-bike did come with lights, but they are mounted permanently in one position, unlike a cygolite on bars is more flexible, and removable for other uses, like reading street signs at night to get Your bearings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I had to add an extra strap
I was not 100% happy that it would hold the headlight firmly to my helmet with a single side-side strap supplied, so I added a second front-back strap intended for mounting a Go-Pro.
