Tiny filter but effective
I actually have a Hamilton Beach single cup coffee drop brewer. The Melitta Java Jig filter fits between the course screen basket and lower fine screen basket. The filter is necessary when using ground coffee that has enough oil to clog the lower fine screen which can cause the basket to overflow during brewing. I've been using these filters for years and they work great to catch coffee oils. I can usually get two cups of coffee through the same filter before discarding and replacing the filter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Helpful but necessary?
I use the the filters on a Bunn system, single cup brewer with the Bunn ground coffee attachment. It keeps most of the used grounds out of the brewer device but not all. Filters plus jig
Love these filters. Just wish I could find the original jig container the new ones cause spillage so I still use mine that split. Split on side is no problem but the new ones have no support on bottom thus the filters burst through the bottom of the jig
