Mid-ride comfort
As a recreational shooter I can say that this mid-ride paired with any other Blackhawk platform is definitely the way to go. I’ve been installing these with serpa style holsters and now with the omnivores as well and they fit great. It makes my draw way more ergonomic and natural instead of having to lift my arm and reach halfway up my ribs with a standard height or tilt off to the side and reach down for a drop leg. Personally I use them at a straight drop but as with other mounting platforms you are able to cant them to your comfort depending on your personal draw but at a more belt line height as opposed to quite higher or lower with other holster options.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

ALMOST fits perfectly
I have a Blackhawk Serpa Level 3 holster with the jacket slot. It was too low for my taste, so I ordered the mid-ride platform. Assembly is straightforward, but one of the holes is just a little off. Even though the hole is off, the platform is secure and supports the holster just fine. It seems more rigid and sturdy than the original low ride jacket slot platform. You can adjust the cant of the holster forward, straight up and down, or rearward by removing the screws and tilting the holster to fit in the angled slots. Another feature I like is the screws for the belt loop. You don't have to take everything off your belt. All you have to do is unscrew the loop screws, slide the holster on the belt, and screw the loop screws back in. When they are tightened, there is no sliding around, even on a nylon duty belt. I've only had it for one day and it greatly improved the feel of my draw and security of my holster on my belt.I recommend the platform, but had to take one star due to the slightly misaligned hole.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This thing is perfect for my needs. Drops my weapon just a little. Simple to install, BUT I had to ream out one of the holes, so all would line up with my Quick Disconnect female receiver plate.
