I was worried this would be a fake as the price was so good. There is evidently a very big problem with fakes of th is item. But as far as I can tell after examining it and trying it, it does seem to be an actual Clarisonic brand product. There was one worrying factor, however: The serial number on the item does not have a corresponding serial number on the bottom of the box, which was one of the criteria to test for authenticity.
