Lightweight but in the right position reads accurately enough
At first I put this in my front room window which faces east and in the morning it gets fairly direct sunlight. The thermometer read over 100 degrees and it was only in the 70's. Then I reread the instructions that said put it where there is some shade so I moved it to my back porch which faces north and never gets direct sunlight on that window and it has been reading more accurately. It is not a really good quality item, being made from really thin metal, but if it gets the job done it is worth it for the price. I put it on the window with the screen behind it so if the suction ever fails it will still be protected from falling by the screen.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

light weight with bad features
tryed it on all of are windows after 5 to 10 mins it keeps falling off this last time i put it up again and it broke I had to put it back together, it seems the rubber on thermoniter will not stay stuck on the window we have cleaned the window and the spot we wanted to put the thermoniter so we tried it again and 10 mins later it fell down and we use water each time we tried it , taylor made I thought that was a good company but I guess I was wrong , I do not recommend this product very cheap , its not worth the price I paid for it . thanks, Flowergirl11Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap - do not purchase
Followed the set up instruction. Cleaned the window and pre wet the suction cup. This gage just will not stick to the outdoor window. It kept falling off the window on to the ground, about a five foot drop. Will the third fall this unit just fell apart. Good thing it was under 8 bucks, or it would have gone back. It's off a bit
Good value (if it worked right) Seems to be a good quality. I placed it on my deck away from sunshine so if anything I expected it to show a degree or two lower than it was but it shows about 5 degrees higher than it is!
