Does the trick but noticeably loud
I bought this to replace the same motor that had rusted out in my bathroom vent. My choices were to replace the entire enclosure (big job) or use this fan (very easy job). So I'm pleased to be able to get the replacement motor wheel because it save me a lot of hassle and I was back in business in a few minutes. The only down side is that the fan on this motor is different than the original and the result is that it is pretty loud. It's the first thing my wife said when I turned it on. Maybe NuTone makes another replacement wheel that would fit my enclosure but had the quieter fan, and if so, I'd seek that out. I didn't find it though.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

They work but only if they are undamaged.
Most of these have been sitting around in some warehouse for awhile and their motor bearings my need a little lubrication if you can get to them. Be careful of any that may have suffered a blow to the box on the fan-blade side of the box. they may have damaged/bent motor shafts and/or broken bearing pans on the opposite side of the motor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
