Changer with a hook.
Light bulb changer works, but is not easy to use. Depending on the canaster the bulb is inside, the outer part of the changer can catch on the sides of the container and pull out the whole container. I did have an old light bulb canaster which they don't make any longer, so now I need a 20 foot ladder to put in a new canaster. Don't know why they put hooks on the outside of the changer, but they obviously do. I was able to change the blub and replace it, but the bulb does not have a cover. What a lousy product
The materials used to construct this product represent one bad choice after another. The base of the changer where the changer screws on to the pole, is made of plastic. This plastic base also has s set screw that is used to secure the changer to the pole. Metal set screws are not compatible with cheap plastic parts like the plastic base. After using the changer in conjunction with the pole, the set screw overcomes the weakness of the plastic base. The base cracks at the point of the set screw, rendering the changer useless. I'm on my third changer because of this product failure. Bayco gets lots of repeat sales because their poorly designed product falls apart after only a few uses. Bayco needs to replace the plastic changer base with one made of aluminum.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good For Lower Wattage Bulbs
This product works well for lower wattage flood bulbs with diameters no larger than 3.5 inches. My application was intended for the higher wattage LED bulbs with a 5 inch diameter, and this device cannot hold them securely.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
