Was it a good deal? Maybe
My only concern about this product is that it was manufactured in 2015, and the sensor is only supposed to last for 10 yrs. I just don't know if the time starts from when the batteries are added, and the unit is powered on, or if it starts from 2015. If 2015 is the case, I will only get about 1yr. of use from it, and it will not worth what I paid for it. I am going to be optimistic, and go with, the time starts when the batteries are inserted and the unit is powered on.
