A good tool to invest in...
I bought this product after trying one my Brother-in-law owned. It really works great...especially if I have a dandelion growing in the middle of a clump of flowers, like daylillies or hostas. My only complaint is with the plastic sleeve that you slide to eject the weed..it is considerably shorter than my Brother-in-law's, which doesn't seem to be as convenient. Nice to look at but, I'll take the weed hound.
Super quality. Compared with the Ames Weed Hound it is easier to eject. The three fingers are maybe successful about 1/2 the time the Ames product has 6 fingers and is successful most of the time. Both products break dandelion roots at few inches insuring you will see them again. I bought the Ames ar a garage sale. Great back and time saving tool!
It works as advertised. Just make sure the ground has been watered the night before or early morning of the day you plan to extract the weeds. There is a technique to using this stand up weed remover. Make sure the sliding ejector is slid all the way upward and you push straight downward with your foot as far down as it will go! Then let the foot peg rest on the ground and slowly leverage the weed out with small back and forth motions and you’ll have more success. I really like this product. I found out about it standing in a return line at Lowes. A man told me about it, so I decided I must have it. I would recommend this product to anyone with a weed factory. Best weed puller
My wife has been using this weed puller for a couple of weeks now, she loves the fact that she doesn't have to do any bending over to extract the weeds. Doesn't work well, but made very well.
Doesn't work as well as a simpler, cheaper tool that uses 3 nails and a spring. Normally Fiskars produces tools that are of high quality and work excellently. While this is of high quality, it does not work as effectively as expected. Fun tool.
This tool almost works like advertised. And the only reason I say almost is because it does a wonderful job of getting in there and taking out the weeds IF the weeds are of a decent size.
