  • Good Vibratons for this recorder

I bought this to replace my older Teac turntable cd recorder. It is easy to use and the turntable is properly calibrated for speed. These sometimes play fast but this was dead on as I pitch tested against a well tuned guitar. High quality sound on recorded LPs. Also has a cassette player which also can be converted to cd.

  • Excellant results from an easy to operate machine.

I have been looking for this kind of product and this one performs the transfer of LPs to Cds in an easy to follow manner. The quality of the transferred material is excellent. Setting the recording level is simple to do. Another great advantage is the entire process of transferring LP recordings to CDs can be done within this unit alone.

  • great features but could of done without the cassette tape .

Just like advertised and works great. Records from my old lp's to CD very well and the sound is great. Good price and I received it very fast.

  • Good Players and Simple to use

The unit looks as it did in the photos. It was easy to set up. I bought it for recording abilities, but have not tried them. All the players function as they should. I would have given it a higher score if the sound quality was better, better speakers maybe and tone adjustments? I got what I ordered and am happy with what I received from TEAC.

  • Better than the alternatives

This is a value and really works to archive lps and other records as well as cassette tapes to cd or cdr. It is much faster, much simpler and just works compared to converting to computer and fiddling with settings then dubbing to cd. On the other hand the simplicity also means very little editing ability, but this gets the job done all in one, easily and with very good audio quality.

  • Better quality than other all-in-ones

I bought the TEAC after sending back a Victrola all-in-one that was poorly constructed and stopped working after I played a few records. I read the reviews, and the TEAC was the highest rated all-in-one stereo. So far I've only used it as a music player and not as a music recording device. The sound from LPs, cassettes and FM radio is very good. I need to examine my LPs since one of them stopped playing upon a scratch. Some of my CDs have gotten temporarily stuck in the machine and won't play. I've been concerned about this. I had to turn it off and on a few times and press the eject button to dislodge the CDs. I thought this was because the CDs were dirty. When I cleaned the CDs in a device, they no longer had this issue. The sound from the CDs seems a bit tinny at times. Since I am unable to adjust treble or bass, I'm not sure what can be done to improve the sound of CDs. I live in a studio apartment and the unit looks big and takes up my entire side table. I'm sure it would not look as big in a larger living space. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and it's nice to finally have a professional grade stereo instead of boom boxes, a cheap Crosley turntable or just playing through my laptop or TV.

  • Good product for its intended purpose.

Its not the most "dynamically" responsive piece of equipment, I mean it doesn't "fill the room" with its audio capability; but for what it is intended, converting older vinyl to digital format, it works well. The "track increment" by which you manually insert a "break" between tracks on the vinyl to make a "track" in the digital format is a bit of a hassle as you have to sit there and manually push the little button at the right split-second. But...in "auto" mode, it creates too many "empty" tracks. But...It works. I immediately upgraded the stylus and the turntable "bed" before I even turned it on, (per some YouTube guidance on the unit, to get the "best" audio quality possible out of the unit. Overall, GOOD product. Other than the "track increment", everything else is pretty straight forward and automatic.

  • A really nice little unit.

Nice little unit for a single room in a house or apartment. Good sound for it's size. Plays CD's and records on them as well. I am enjoying listening to my old LP's and some of my really old 45's and 78's. Amazing sound from some old 78's that are not in great condition.

  • "Back to the Future"

So excited to have a turntable once again that will not only let me play my dusty records but also record them to CDs!. The sound quality is exceptionally good on the two built in speakers. The compact unit was easy to prep and use. Just recorded my first LP. Very easy with great sound, even when played on my laptop. Only disappointment is that there is no Power button on the remote. The only Power button is on the face of the unit.

  • Lives up to the reviews

Love the ease of use, finally able to play my vast supply of classic albums, cassettes and cd's from 60's, 70's and 80's. I purchased another brand and sent it back the same day. My new Teac simply blows it away. The only thing that would make it perfect would be the ability to hook up external speakers.
