Aweseome quiality Calligraphy Pen and how to refil the inks on these kits
This is an awesome kit from the 90's that I gave a 2nd life. I aways soak the nibs in warm water for a few mins then let sit to get the ink out - this set didn't have dried ink in the nib which is unheard of for Shaeffer pens even when they look new. Then I used my $4 ink jet syringe from Amazon to fill these dried up ink cartriages with water and wash them out. Then I filled them with 100 year light fast dr. H Martin Inks and put washi tape over the holes so they wouldn't drain when not in use. Now the kit is archival and will be used constantly for my calligraphy as I do calligraphy daily.
