Good, inexpensive setup for the office.
Given the low price tag, I decided to spring for the set and try it out for use at my desk job. I connected the mic to my desktop system - I use multiple video conferencing apps as well as Google Voice and Hangouts for work and personal calls and the mic has proven to be clean and clear. The only real downside thus far has been the tendency for the swing arm's bracket that connects to the shock mount gets loose easily and needs to be tightened. Given the price, I'm fine with that. I didn't buy it to do anything more than just make voice and video calls so my rating is based on the fact it meets my needs and has proven to be an excellent value purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Hello, it'd like to return this item. The quality and the microphone sound is horrible, and I'd like to refund it, even for half price. I used the microphone correctly and hooked it up correctly, but this microphone is so bad that it's bad. You get what you paid for.
This microphone is much better than my headphone microphone most definitely. The sound is not as loud as i expected it to be, but it could be because i didn't talk that loud into the microphone. I thought that this microphone would be like many others but it wasn't and it makes since. A really good microphone cost hundreds of dollars. If you want that super good quality microphone that you may see in YouTube videos your going to have to spend A LOT more money. But if your just starting off with making videos or just talking with others over on the internet, then look no further than this microphone. For the price of the unit, I was completely surprised on how well the sound quality turned out! I used this with a MacBook Pro using GarageBand. The responsiveness of the mic was great! It picked up everything. Even the ambient noise in the other room. Next, I will need to invest in sound proofing the home studio.
