I've done some time studies with the IC3, and I average 9 shots per minute from the free throw line. From the 3 point line I average 7 shots per minute. The difference is due to the amount of time it takes for the ball to bounce back to you. The further you are, the longer it takes. Without the IC3, you'll be lucky to get half because you'll be running down your misses (and makes). Also, fatigue will eventually take its toll from running to retrieve the balls. The IC3 will let you concentrate on your shot without leaving your spot.
Another plus, which I believe is the most important, is because of the design of the net to trap your missed shots, you are forced to place "arch" on you shot to get over the net. I believe the net was specifically designed to catch your misses, but the placement of the nets won't allow you to shoot a "flat" shot. I will be using the IC3 with 6th grade travel ball teams to improve their shot.
Assembly took less than an hour. Pretty straight forward. Holds up well to 3 or 4 balls being shot into it at the same time. The bar that is designed to brace it against the pole of your court comes with a few different lengths and can be combined to accommodate different angles. The pole of my court is at an angle and I thought it wouldn't reach, but it did with only 2 attachments.
I am extremely pleased with product and highly recommend it.
