Based on the 1995 feature film, The Mask puts you in the role of Stanley Ipkiss, a new accounts clerk at Edge City Bank. You have stumbled across an ancient Scandinavian mask, which endows you with the superhuman powers and all-out wackiness of the Norse god of mischief. In addition, it gives you a grinning green face, giant buck teeth, and poor fashion sense (you wear a bright yellow suit).<br><br>The local crime boss doesn't care much for your nuttiness and ability to command attention, so he frames you for his own misdeeds and kidnaps the lovely Tina Carlyle with plans of destroying her and other innocents via an explosion at the Coco Bongo Club. With your help, The Mask and its strange powers must put a stop to this madness.<br><br>As bearer of The Mask, you can morph into certain cartoon-like items and gain abilities to help you fight the bad guys. These include a tornado, a mallet, guns, a horn, and super speed. You will also need to look for helpful items such as your dog Milo, your hat, vents, and cracks in the floor. These will enable you to up your Mask energy and morphing energy, access otherwise unreachable areas, mark save points, and more. You will also bounce on sofas, ride elevators, pick up cash and jewels, and dodge wrecking balls.<br><br>The Mask consists of seven levels of play: Stanley's Apartment, The Streets of Edge City, Edge City Bank, Landfill Park, Edge City Jail House, the Sewers, and the Coco Bongo Club.
