This saw is really sweet. As with some circular saws it will bind up with a lateral load. I wish it powered through but other than that it is awesome. I love the functionality of taking it anywhere even away from outlets. I haven't had any issues from it eating up too much battery. I've used this saw almost daily in my biz. Dropped it few.--- no probs. It can cut throurgh 2 sheets of 3/4 ply with ease. It's like a corded saw w/o the hastle. AND LIGHTER (my guess). aweome saw rhar runs on a battery

Cuts as well as any corded saw!
