  • Top critical review

Will take practice to see if this works well

I was going to clean a number of crappie and one walleye. I started with the flexible blade and was missing a lot of meat. Switched to the 9" stiff blade and was better able to follow the rib cage and get more of the meat and it was much quicker. It was not very effective at all at skinning fish and left a lot of meat on the skin with both blades. I ended up using a manual fillet a knife to skin the remainder of the fish. The manual blade was dramatically better and faster. I am used to Mr. Twister electric Fillet Knife so maybe there will be a learning curve on this knife but I am pretty disappointed at this price point of the poor initial performance I experienced. My initial performance was a clear step down to the substantially cheaper Mr. Twister Fillet Knife. With this knife I will definitely need to use another knife to skin my fillets.

  • For the most part good

It came in mail fast. Looked good and new. Was using it to process a deer. The battery life was a positive it would take allot game to go through both batteries. I went through 2/3 of first one seemed to last a long time. I didn’t like how the blades fit down into the handle so far and the power trigger stuck down in the on position twice. I used some wd40 and seemed to get it working better but almost returned it. I used it the night it came in and haven’t had a second chance to use it. I’ll be trying it on some fish when I get back into town may update then. The knife seems to be of good quality material and looks like it will probably hold up pretty good only time will tell. $107 much better then $169 or more for that price as long as trigger doesn’t continue to stick I should be satisfied. Thanks

  • Bubba cordless electric fillet knife

Read reviews before I made purchase. They were all excellent reviews and I have to agree with the others it is built of good quality and performs well love the blades that flex as a standard fillet knife does. Used other brands in past that didn't have that feature but it also has the stuff blades as well for when you need it solid great selection of different blade attachments and 2 lithium batteries also I shopped around and found the best deal by far here on eBay cheaper by at least $35 cheaper. I love my new bubba fillet knife!!

  • Bubba Fillet Knife

Was a Christmas gift for my son-in-law; he was excited. Hasn't used it yet, but his buddies have em & says they work great. Ordered 1 for my son also who has a catfish pond so I know he's gonna love it also! Very nice looking handle & case, along with 4 size blades. I give it a 10+ for them.

  • long battery life. water resistant. not too heavy

It is a handy device. Bought it to skin catfish. Blades were not good for that, but bought some different blades and it does the job. Battery is long lasting and is easy to maneuver when skinning fish.

  • Best knife on the market in

I’ve used every electric knife on the market this one is by far the best it’s light no cord pulling on you very sharp blades and very flexible blades and the battery last a very long time. I can fillet 100 crappie on one charge

  • Lithium ion

This battery operated fillet knife is awesome!! If your thinking of getting this do it!!!! Academy wants nearly $200 for the same thing. Battery lasts a long time and you get 2 of them. No cord to be in the way.....

  • Bubba cordless fillet knife

With the extra battery, you can turn a big job into a small task. It’s a pleasure to use. The trigger is light to pull so everyone can use it, with a safety switch to ensure no unintentional cuts are made! It has a rubber carrying case that makes it easy to stow all four different sets of blades. It really is that simple, it is pricey but you get what you pay for. I really have not found anything I would change

  • Not for redfish

I own a fishing charter and bubba blade is known for making great knives, so I gave this a try. It seems to be made well and may work great for other fish, but it was way slower than a regular fillet knife on a redfish. I took it out, filleted one side and put it back in the box. Seems if the blade moved faster, that would make a huge difference. May work well for some, but not for me.
