Quality copy of the Reinsman Little S Hackamore.
Great hackamore, and a bargain for the price. It's a copy of the Reinsman "Little S" with the flat leather nose-band which costs around $80. It's actually very nice quality! It did run a little big so I punched a couple extra holes in the nose-band to make it smaller. And because I am always tweaking things to make them "perfect," I removed the "S" hook on the curb chain and replaced it with another snap so I could adjust the chain on both sides rather than have extra chain hanging only on one side. A lot of hackamores these days don't even come with a curb chain and a curb chain costs about $10 extra if you have to buy one, so I was happy this hackamore was complete and ready to use. The leather nose-band softened right up when I oiled it. Just like good quality USA leather. It was not cheap dry leather like you might expect on an import. Really, the only caveat I would mention is that it runs big. If you have something petite like an Arabian it would probably be too big without replacing the nose-band (which would be easy to do). But a large sized stock horse or gaited horse it should fit just fine. Oh, and most important thing, the horse rides well in it too!

I ordered this after trying multiple bits on my horse and a traditional hackamore. The girl I got my horse from said she used a Little S Hackamore on him so I decided to order one. This was very, very nice material and quality-made. Shipping time was fast and even arrived ahead of schedule.
