My review of the Sector 9 platium abec 9 longboard bearings.
As far as I can tell, after using many different kinds of bearings, these bearings are the best. They cannot crack like ceramic ones. They are not weak or scratchy like some. They have good dirt shields that are easy to take off and clean. They ride extremely smooth and without any problems. They look good. I cannot find anything wrong with them. Now I suppose, maybe, it is possible to pay 200 dollars and get something better, but I can't really see me doing that, since I'm already going faster than I need to. Maybe some racer wants that 0.0001 second extra speed, but price per second it seems like a no starter to me. I cannot recommend these bearings enough. I do not use anything else and I have been on bearing wheels since the late 60's. And on longboards since the early 70's. These bearings go as fast and as smoothly as I need without any problems. And can be cleaned and reused for a very very long time. What more can you ask for 30 dollars? At least give them a try.

Good step up from the base bearings
Not the world's best barrings, but a decent upgrade from the factory bearings that came with my board. Went with this upgrade because I heard they will resist rusting better than others. Only time will tell. Easy peasy to replace old barrings.
