Rate and Review Clymer Maintenance & Repair Manual 1978-83 Honda CX & GL500/650
If you own one of these Motorcycles, then you need to have a copy of this Book, at least if you are handy with tools and don't mind getting your hands dirty. With step by step Instructions, and photos of the parts, you should be able to take care of all the routine Maintenance and even some major repairs. Clymer manual for 1983 Honda GL 650 Silverwing
We bought a Honda GL 650 Silverwing 1983 for my wife and it needs som TLC. I am disassembling the whole bike for a paint job, but the rear section is quite complicated (lock mechanism for saddle bags and rear seat. This is not explained in the Clymer manual, so I am quite disappointed. Otherwise, I have had great help for a number of bikes where I bought the Clymer manual (BMW K, Gold Wing 1200 and 1500), For the GL 1800 Gold Wing I discovered that there are too many differencies between the EEC model and the US model, which is the one in the Clymer manual. I orderede the original Honda shop manual for my 1800. Anyway, I still prefer Clymer over Haynes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
