Don't get fooled by cheap
You can buy the off brand discount battery but when you get stranded you'll wish you had bought this battery. Had the same battery for 5 years on my zx10r. When it failed I purchased the discount battery. 1st one couldn't hold enough of a charge to get the bike started after a full 24 hours on a smart charger. Company sent replacement. Battery number 2 arrived with a hairline crack near the seal and corrosion on the positive post. Amazon forced a refund. 3rd battery purchased on Ebay is the yuasa, it's been long enough now that I know I'm going to get a good life out of it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Had to modify the positive post. Wrong screw supplied.
The Positive post had to be drilled out before I could insert the supplied nut. The supplied screw was also the wrong size but the screw from my old battery worked. Also had to use the washers from my old battery. Other than that it cranked the bike right up after sitting for over a year.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Yuasa motorcycle batteries; None Better!
I've had 3 of these batteries in my 2004 Ducati. Yuasa makes the best lead/acid motorcycle batteries available IMO. Yuasa is the OE battery in the vast majority of your motorcycle marques. This tells you something. The first OE Yuasa battery in my Ducati lasted 14years! I put it on the trickle charger every winter, but still... that battery should be in a museum. I didn't get the last battery on the charger this past winter... hence a bad cell... but it still started the bike!
