Probably the best and most expensive upgrade I have ever bought for a motorcycle
This is an expensive upgrade for your bike. But the quality is excellent and the seat is is in a totally different league from the OEM seat in regards to comfort. If you take longer rides on your cruiser and find the OEM seat painful after about 45minutes and unbearable after about 2 hours then this could be what your looking for. Amazing seat!
I did 280 miles on the stock seat last week and would never do it again. After that ride I decided I had to order this seat. Amazing difference. Night and day! I installed the seat this afternoon and went for a ride. I ended up doing 150 miles. At 150 miles on the stock seat I was already in pain. On this seat, I had no pain. I could have kept going if I had more time. If you’ve been thinking about this seat, I would highly recommend it. I wasn’t sure if there would be enough back support, but after reading the reviews and comparing it to the model with the backrest, I didn’t think it was necessary for me to have the additional backrest height. I was right. This seat gives me more than enough back support. On the stock seat my back would start hurting almost immediately, I had no back pain and all the back support I could ever want on this seat! A nice addition to my Honda Phantom
Initially I had trouble fitting the rider's seat to my Honda Phantom as it did not sit down onto the frame properly, however I contacted Mustang who advised that the rubber pads and the front tongue could be lubricated with a little white grease or washing up liquid and it should ease into place. Hey presto everything sorted. Comfortable seat though quite a bit wider than the stock seat. Perfect for 2016 Phantom 750 cc
Just got this today, it took 5 minutes to put on and unlike a previous review I read, it went on perfectly! I saw someone else say something about the seat not sitting properly, or something like that in order for it to fit. Not for the 2016 Phantom, it went on just right! However, it does sit high and because it is wide, I feel like I'm on my toes when I stand with both feet on the ground. I'm sure I will adjust though!! Way better than the stock seat. Going from the stock seat to the Mustang seat raises you up and back. To best describe it, you almost feel reclined back a little.
