performs as designed
Well it is a product associated with a pool, so of course it is terribly overpriced. What else is new? But this was the best price by far that I could find quickly. As with most of these things, you can't just wait until you find a good price. Pools don;t wait!. It was a perfect replacement, easy replacement. My only concern was the packaging. it was in an oversized box with a couple of wads of crumpled paper, certainly not enough to stabilize the product or keep it suspended in the box. Considering that the failure is always a plastic fracture, seems like a safer way to ship should be considered.

Fixed my leaks.
Needed part to replace plumbing at pump because previous owner epoxied slip joints. Simple replacement but slip joints are ridiculously priced.
