  • Nice upgrade by trusted Wilson Combat

This is a heavy steel guide rod. It looks great as it is fluted and will help improve accuracy. I purchased this for my Beretta 92FX model. It made the pistol heavier but after shooting it a couple times i forgot it was there

  • Great guide rod for my Beretta M9-A3

High quality, like the spiral flutes for "down in the mud" what if's. Peace of mind knowing my Beretta M9-A3 has steel instead of plastic for this part now.

  • Wilson steel guide rod

Excellent design. Made of top quality a must have for any Beretta 92

  • seems like a good idea, so I thought I'd try it

A fluted guide rod? Why not I said, it reduces spring friction on the rod - even if you'd need test equipment to measure it - and there's probably nothing wrong with that. I just put 150 rounds on it and it works fine. They say new Berettas come with the plastic guide rod, although mine didn't it came with a steel rod. Probably not a necessity, but maybe if you were in the mud or sand the flutes might help the firearm to still function.

  • Great rod

It’s pretty amazing how just a new spring and guide rod could make your gun more accurate and reliable.

  • Best guide rod for the 92/96

Ive tried a lot of guide rods from off brands and beretta branded and this one from Wilson combat is the best one ive used so far. I highly recommend getting one of these for your berettas m. Ive swaped all my 92/96 guide rods for this one and i couldn’t be happier

  • It's not plastic! I'm happy

I only have one concern about it wearing on the recoil spring. So I'll buy a extra one. I feel much better that is steel not plastic. Installed fine no issues.

  • Excellent product

Why use plastic when steel, which is fluted to minimize obstruction, is so much better? Simple equation for me. Highly recommend. It fits the m9a3 as well.

  • Great product

Bought it for my beretta 92a1 so I can replace the plastic captive guide rod and of course bought a new recoil spring and it works great don't have to worry about the steel guide rod breaking anytime soon
