    Too floral and powdery

    I purchased two of these bottles of Black Opium. They were both at department store prices, which was expensive as this site didn't really have a good price for either at the time. One was for a family member and one for the significant other. I routinely get to smell the one for my significant other, she originally thought wow that smells like chocolate and coffee. I think it smells like 1/2 chocolate and coffee, and 1/2 old lady perfume. To me it's definitely floral and powdery. It doesn't turn me on when my girl wears it. But it is different and unique definitely.
