Honda 2017 tailgate lock
Installation took about two hours. The installation was fairly easy the hardest part was figuring which wires to use when trying to figure out which wires to use do not use the key fob use the door unlock and door lock buttons on the door. Seen of good quality, easy to install into the tailgate latch, wiring under dash no problem. finding a good path under the undercarriage bit of a challenge. would be nice to have a longer wire to run a better path under neath. The mechanical part of the installation was super easy. Disassemble of the tailgate parts straight forward. The instructions were spot on. Complex but Simple
The latch appears complicated by design but flips from lock to unlock effectively. The mechanism installed easily as detailed. The DC driver appears to be the same old solid performer it was in the past. The cable was exactly the right length and installation was quite straight forward.
