I purchased this phone for it's size and weight. I carry it in my pocket so it has to be small. The processor is pretty quick and the screen is big enough. Love the size and most of the features, but android system is out of date
Love the size and most of the features. The Android system is out of date, can't load many apps and battery life is shorter than I expected. I can't go all day without having to charge the battery at least once. I have tried uninstalling facebook and a couple other apps and helps, but still uses battery faster than expected. Otherwise, it is a smaller smart phone with a pretty good camera and easy to use. I only use mostly for checking emails, calls and texts. I LOVE this phone!
I love this phone. This is the third Samsung Mini Galaxy phone that I have owned. I first got the S3 and have purchased 2 S4's, this one is a back up phone in case anything happens to the one I am using now. I have owned many different cell phones but I always come back to Samsung. I love the ease of use, features, and although the battery life isn't great if you use your phone often, it is better than most. I like the size. I do not like the big phones that are more like tablets than a cell phone. This one fits perfectly in my purse. My neighbor and cleaning lady loved my phone so much they had me get phones for them too. The cleaning lady's husband also wanted one so I got one for him too. That's 5 of us that absolutely love this phone so you don't have to take just my word for it. Taking selfies is a breeze for those of you who are in to that. I expanded the memory with a SD card but I have never had to use it. The phone has ample memory for most users. Love this phone!
My Droid Incredible 2 (which I loved!) started acting up on me after having it for more than 4 years. I decided to upgrade to the Droid Incredible 4G LTE, but with a 4.0.0 operating system, it wasn't compatible with some of my apps, including my banking app. After much research on compact cell phones, I decided on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini because it has a removable battery, expandable storage, and a 4.2.2 operating system. The camera is comparable to both my droid incredibles. Plus the reviews were overwhelmingly favorable. I used to say that whenever I got a new phone, For the first two weeks I wanted to pitch it through a window, then afterwards I wonder how I ever lived without it. I have been loving this phone from the start. It's very intuitive and easy to use. I don't like a large phone, and this one is small enough to work with one hand and can fit in my pocket. As my nephew says, if it's too big to fit in my pocket, it's too big! I have nothing but praise for it, and will be looking forward to checking out Samsung's next compact offering.
