Why on Planet Earth Would Anyone Ever Get an iPad Air 3?

I just cannot say how amazing this rather old device is! Nokia was an amazing innovator, and although I'm having trouble forgiving Microsoft for KILLING Nokia, they make an amazing operating system that blows iOS, Mac and Linux out of the water. You simply cannot compare them in features. There's a lot of complaints that the absurdly titled "Windows RT" can't run old Windows program. (first of all, whoever named it Windows RT in the marketing department, I sure hope they are currently unemployed, because they do not deserve a job, that is the reason "RT" failed). BUT, can your Android, or iOS mobile devices run the full Photoshop or Adobe Premiere video editing software? Of course, not! That's not why we bought this device! But what terrific icing on the cake that we can have a completely mobile device on unlocked cellular data, just like your phone, that looks and feels like a real productivity computer... complete with Office 2013 pre-installed (I still remember the day when I had to pay almost $500 for a single license of the latest Office). This device is the dream device, come true! It's a bit heavy, but then again, all computers are lighter than they were two years ago. This is an unbelievable deal at today's prices!

    HD, sharp beautiful screen

This is probably he finest tablet out there. I would give it 5 stars in a heart beat. It's quality all the way. Only one problem; no apps. I mean no apps. Microsoft very simply let us down. Extremely disappointing. This tablet is great for watching movie, surfing the net, and keeping tabs of your household finances. That's where it ends. One can also download movies. But app wise. Forget it.

  • Don't Think Windows RT is Dead!

When Windows 3.0 was released it dramatically changed computing. Of course I suggest that had Steve Jobs been allowed, temper and erratic behavior, to be at Apple without the bump called Next Computers, it would have been different. Gates and IBM split. The Gates GUI Windows 95 blew away the IBM GUI. Many apps suddenly had to be re-written and Gates allowed the apps to use a run-time version of Windows 3.0. This run-time version was specific to the app however there were ways to get most of the functionality from the run-time version of the parent Windows 3.0. I was raised on 2 operating systems one was the Commodore OS and the other MS-DOS. As Apple started to become a serious competitor to Microsoft out came the interesting Surface designed with a limited version of 8.0 called RT to run on arm-type CPUs. The Intel CPUs were not practical due to limited battery life. Arm-type CPUs basically run on a much limited instruction set, that is not noticeable. Let's just say that Intel was late to the party, like Digital was late and MS-DOS was early. I like my Surface but I like my Nokia 2520 tablet better. The best reason is that the battery life of the Nokia blows away the Surface. Microsoft saw that and actually purchased Nokia ending the innovation of Nokia. However the Nokia has a quad processor, and upgrades to 8.1. It is serious business and even gaming device. The price is remarkable. The only defect is that there is no variation of Windows Media Player available, or ever will be. External RW DVDs are inexpensive on Ebay, just go with a name brand. The Nokia 2520 like all RT machines has limited apps. However it offers an excellent version of IE so simply bookmark the app use want. The Nokia display is excellent and the sound from its tiny speakers is very usable, get a 32gig micro SD card for data storage. If you want a tablet that offers all the functionality of a heavier notebook look at the Nokia 2520. Oh, there is something else. The Nokia 4G LTE device supplements WiFi. If you have T-Mobile or other GSM carriers you may find very inexpensive deals for mobile data.

  • Excellent hardware, outdated software

The best hardware combined with the garbage that it windows metro UI. Its old, and not supported by anyone including Microsoft themselves. MS has made every effort to make the store unusable without a hotmail ID, and when you try to make a new one there are too many questions and conditions about passwords and phone number etc. I had to make a new account on Skype on my phone(skype doesnt work on Windows RT) So its just a basic tablet with few basic features and extremely limited apps for those who have a hotmail account. So why did I buy this? the price is good for a 10 inch tablet for basic reading and web browsing. you can get a cheap Android tablet from Lenovo or Asus, but nothing comes close to Nokia quality. This tablet puts an 800 USD ipad to shame in terms of quality

  • it's very fast and with very good image quality

good: it is a product of very good quality and good manufacturing material, is very versatile, very good speed wing when open windows and app. The bad: is a bit heavy, there are not many app stores and can not then updated as Windows 10 in the mobile phones.

  • Nokia Tablet

The battery was not tested I only ran it for a short period of time which it was good but, tablets with Windows does not convince me yet In my opinion OS Apple or Android are the best. Android and Apple have Apps Windows is operated more like computer and is too small to work on it, To me Windows in a 13" and up are ok. Not on 10" inch

  • Software
