You can achieve your desired style in minutes, without adding much time to your typical morning routine. Some pomades and hair gel leave buildup in your hair, dry the scalp, and cause damage, but this is not a problem with Suavecito Firme Pomade. The product is water-soluble and easily washes out with shampoo and water. Suavecito Firme Pomade can be applied using two different methods on either damp or dry hair, depending on the desired result. When used on dry hair, the hold is stronger, but there is less shine to the hair. Use the product on damp hair for more shine and for a bit of lighter hold. To apply the product, squeeze a quarter-sized amount of the pomade into the palm of your hand and rub your hands together. Begin to work it into your hair, beginning with the roots and moving to the ends and take care to distribute it evenly through the hair. Then, comb your hair into the style you want. The pomade dries quicker than many other products in its class. Suavecito Firme Pomade does not contain harsh ingredients that will damage your hair, sending you to a barber for a haircut. Suavecito Firme Pomade is formulated with ingredients that are strong to provide the hold you need, yet gentle on the hair. The product contains water, ceteareth-25, glycerin, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, propylene glycol, PEG 40 hydrogenated castor oil, fragrance, DMDM hydantoin caramel, simethicone, PVP, PEG-8 beeswax, methylparaben, polysorbate 20. The pomade has a thick and creamy consistency that is easy to comb through the hair and dries strong enough to hold your style all day long. You will not need a special shampoo to wash out Suavecito Firme Pomade, as it washes clean by shampooing your hair as normal. Good stuff.
I have been using Moco De Gorilla for a few years to comb my hair into a pomp, but lately it hasn't been working for me until I have finally gave in and bought Suavecito. Suavecito Firme Hold: Works pretty good! Combs really nice and it holds up all day since I have difficult,straight, long hair to work with. It has a cologne kind of smell. Smells nice but a little too strong. It can give me a headache sometimes. Texture is really thick when rubbed into my hands. i have to wet it a little bit to loosen it up. I have learned that in order to work properly, your hair must be almost completely covered in Suavecito otherwise you will have partings and eventually get frustrated. It’s ok
I have very thick, wavy hair so I was looking for a pomade that would give me a tight hold without feeling stiff when it dried. This pomade does give a strong hold but your hair will feel extra crispy once it dries. If you try and comb it out it makes your hair look much bigger but still holds. It also left my hair feeling a bit sticky once it was combed out. It does wash out easily however. I had to apply it to slightly wet hair. I tried applying to dry hair and it would not spread out evenly through my hair. All in all I liked the hold it provided just not the way it made my hair feel,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My wife bought this for me in whim (I'm Latino, she's Latina and well, Sauevicito is well... Latino). Potential Knockoff...
I'm pretty sure it's a knockoff. I have an original container of the exact same stuff at home and everything from the jar size, label font, and colors are slightly off. Most importantly, the product itself is much more watery and has a different consistency, color, and smell. I don't know if my specific jar just stayed in the sun too long or what but it's different, not the same product. The only silver lining is that whatever is in there actually isn't bad. It is difficult to find products that work well with my hair: I have stubborn, heavy, thick hair. Suavecito always worked well w/ my hair. With this I style my hair w/ ease and w/o overuse.
