Good, cheap phone
It's nice to have a phone you don't have to worry too much about breaking or losing. It's not cost effective to insure one, as you can buy another one outright for the deductible. This phone is perfect for a kid or teen, or as a spare for one's main cell phone. Bought one a little over two years ago for around $100 - which was a bargain at the time. It's not the greatest phone in the world by any means, but it handles the basics just fine.. Not many folks have two phone accounts for themselves in the USA, but it supports dual SIMs if you want that. Interestingly enough, the circuit board looks like it made to also possibly support a third SIM. Reception and call quality are good, battery life is very good, apps respond well, and the phone can be tethered and be used as a hotspot on Net10/Straight Talk. It can be rooted quickly with Kingo Root to remove bloat, and for other functions that require rooting to accomplish. The cameras and screen viewing angle are what they compromised on to bring the price down, so if these are deal breakers for you, you've been warned. You have got to be kidding!
This phone uses 2.72 gb of 4 gb internal memory right out of the box because of Android 6. There is very little room for additional apps and their data. Reformating a sd card as additional internal memory doesn't help either. Finally had to reset to factory settings, and not install even one additional app. I have now owned 4 Blu cell phones and by far this is the worst. I can't hardly wait till it breaks. Won't need to buy phones with 4 gb of internal memory. What a mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The BLU Advance 4.0 A270A is a good buy
I bought this item and actually received a BLU Advance 4.0 L A010U, which is not the same as the BLU Advance 4.0 A270A it was advertised as, but the A270A is a decent everyday phone for light users with decent specs. The A010U is nothing like the A270A, and both the price and specs clearly and easily reflect this. Hence do not buy the A010U BLU Advance 4.0 L unless you really need a very cheap, disposable phone not meant to be your everyday phone as it will choke and die on you, but rather a cheap phone for travel that you can live with if dropped, cracked, or gets wet.
