It works, but check the Torx screws before installing and make sure you have the full set of nylon clips.
After years of patiently dealing with a slow passenger side power window operation, I took the plunge and bought an entire right window regulator with motor (after striking out with just replacing the motor, but more on that later).
I have to admit, I'm not 100% certain if the previous right window regulator was original or not.
I didn't see any Mopar markings.
The Torx hardware was sturdier and the motor bolted to the door. Said motor had a little electrical connection extension.
When I pulled the new regulator out of the box, I got a little worried.
The Torx screws were chintzier (hole too shallow).
Some rubbery foam isolating bits have been eliminated.
The cable's protective sheath was redesigned and so was the motor bracket.
The motor's electrical connector no longer had an extension and the motor itself had to be mounted using nylon push clips (quicker install, to be honest).
Could this be the reason why aftermarket RockAuto window motors didn't fit my old regulators? Because there have been design updates? Or did I have an aftermarket regulator installed all this time without me knowing?
