Good bye steering wander!!!!!
I purchased this kit for ny 05 Ram 2500. Has 5 in. lift and 35 in tires.Its always had loose steering,ive done the brace,balljoints,steering linkage upgrade,borgstrom steering shaft,dual stabilizer,even a reman steering gear. Truck still wandered. I can honestly say this kit corrected my steering wander,after an hour i had it replaced,Note: If u have a lift,you will need drop pitman arm for 09-2017 Ram.I already updated steering linkage so hooked right up without making any changes. Great upgrade steering box for a 2007 Dodge 3500
I purchased this kit as an upgrade replacement for a customers 2007.5 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually. This box is much larger and heavier duty than the original. This steering box comes with basic instructions. New Pittman Arm and HD tie rod end (2010 steering) If you are going to purchase this kit you will need to purchase 2010 tie rods and drag link ends except for the one provided. For ease of installation you should remove the LH inner fender liner which allows access to the power steering lines. 18mm & 21mm crows foot wrenches are required. Use blue thread lock on the mounting bolts. Installation is easier with 2 people and takes about 1 hour. The kit is a more expensive than the OE box, but well worth it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Mopar brand steering box completed my steering upgrade on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 diesel. I had already upgraded the steering linkage to the 2008.5 upgrade version with the heavier tie rods and ends. This steering gear box connected to the already upgraded steering linkage without the need for the new tie rod end supplied in this kit. The install was a true "drop in" replacement, although it fits very snug against the radiator and the power steering lines are difficult to connect back up. I had the best luck in starting the line nuts from above and then tightening from underneath. I replaced the ball joints a couple weeks ago and with the new steering box installed, the steering is a little stiff but I'm sure it will loosen up. I bought my truck brand new and it now drives better than when new. No more having to "herd" my truck down the road.😜Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
