  • Classic Metal Works - Always a good product...

So far, I am always satisfied with the CMW products I have purchased. I answered yes to all the initial questions and would say CMW are "durable" for what they are intended to be. They are not children's toys. They are perfect for N scale layouts and are some of the best quality vehicles available in N scale. The multi-color items, including these SOHIO trucks generally have good, crisp paint lines. NOW, CMW, if you are reading this, how about a 50's era truck of this FORD style with the work body on it like the high rail trucks that is painted red and designed for the fire service. Too small to be a good pumper, this work body truck would be ideal for a F.D. utility truck. Also, since I'm asking, hopefully the recently announced '70's trucks in HO will soon make it to N. A mini-pumper, in red, NOT a grass truck, would be a nice offering as well. The two would combine perfectly with the long discontinued Athearn FORD fire engines to round out the assignment at many rural fire stations.
