Small but powerful!
Don't be surprised by the physically small size of this drill/driver tool. It has a very powerful motor, generous variable speed and torque settings (torque is important when used as a driver), and two switchable high-power selections for really tough drilling jobs (such as masonry, steel, and thick wood). The Li-ion battery charges outside of the drill body allowing for quick battery switch-outs and charges at a reasonably fast paced. CAUTION! I purchased this drill/driver to replace an old B & D 18 volt nicad battery drill/driver. The difference is truly amazing. This 12 volt drill/driver out performs the 18 volt B & D, and with the 2 speed feature it provides more control when using it as a driver. The small form factor is very appealing. it fits my hand perfectly and is very well balanced. The LED light is also a nice feature.
