Couldn't be happier with my purchase

This is a real money saver--a wired MAC Mighty Mouse. It will pay for itself in a few months. No need to spend endless dollars on batteries that run out all too quickly. I'm just so happy this old model mouse is still available.

    Excellent design, poor execution

I really love the look and feel of this mouse. It has that Steve Jobs minimalistic design. Being able to scroll in any direction is great. Having the extra button near the bottom enables me to display the desktop instantly. Now for the bad. I bought this mouse to do some gaming. Using this mouse in Starcraft running on Mac OS 9.2 does work. I was able to use right clicking in the game which makes gameplay so much easier. One problem I experienced was glichy movement. If I move the mouse too fast on the track pad, the cursor just move a little in the opposite direction. This is completely unacceptable for gameplay. The funny thing is the mouse pad I use is a gray colored one with the text "Apple" on it. I'm pretty sure it is an offical Apple product. Another problem is with the cord. It is simply too short. Plugging this into the keyboard helps but this may not be an option for everyone. The last problem I noticed was the buttons don't always register when you click them. Sometimes you have to lift all your fingers off the mouse, then click to make it recognize a right or left click. Overall I have to say I will avoid any mouse made by Apple in the future. This is the company that thought the hockey puck mouse was a good idea.

  • The Best Mouse Apple Ever Designed

I love this mouse, and am so happy I was able to get one for a reasonable price. It's not possible to buy one from a retailer, because it's discontinued, so I had to get one from an eBay seller. The Mighty Mouse is the best mouse Apple ever designed, IMO; you can scroll with it, you can pan and zoom, you can point and click. All the parts on this mouse work extremely well—the scroll button, the laser, the side grips. It's the only mouse I need for surfing the web; it doesn't use batteries—currently, you can only buy a mouse that eats AA batteries like candy if you want to go to the Apple Store. I love it.

  • Great for Mac Testing

One of my iMac’s Bluetooth went out and I wanted another wired mouse to use for testing since I would need a wired one full time for the Bluetoothless one for start up tests before Bluetooth connects. This mouse looked brand new out of the box, works just as well as my other one. Now I have a back up incase one fails.

  • good, wired mouse for Macs

I only use wired technology, so it's important for me to be able to find these mice unused, in new condition, which is hard to do. I have several now for back-up in case they break. I've always liked this mouse because it's small and light. It's easy to use the tiny track ball, but it's delicate and has to be treated with care (frequently cleaned, no greasy fingers while using, etc). Otherwise, this is a good, wired mouse for Macs.

  • REALLY short cord

This was good value for the money, and because I have an extension... useable. However, as it comes, the cord is too short to use since my MacBook Pro doesn't have USB connections on the right side. I guess it would be perfect if you used your left hand to mouse, but I don't. Still, I'm happy with it.

  • Stable and Wired Mac Mouse

Great original mouse wired and fits with modern MacBook Pro and OS. Newer mice require endless batteries and are long proven to our team to be less stable on monitors and quirkier to control with too many features by the feather touch. This earlier generation wired mouse has been stable for many years and hard to find in recent years.

  • Like the Mighty Mouse

I bought it used. The price was good, even though there were cheaper ones on eBay. I bought it mainly to have a taste of Apple quality.

  • Genuine Apple Mac Mighty Mouse Model A1152 Wired Optical Mouse

What can I say? Purchased to replace an old one of the same kind which finally reached the end of its life. It feels and functions just like its predecessor did when it was new. It's great, and it IS designed by Apple.

  • The best!

When my original wired mouse failed several years ago, I learned that Apple was no longer making them. I purchased another brand that didn't work anywhere near as well. I was very happy to see a good selection on Ebay and purchased one. It works flawlessly!
