Better than the original Kohler product
We've gone through two of the original manufacturer's sink racks since getting our Lakefield sink 15 years ago. Eventually the white plastic covering cracks and the wire inside rusts, and it becomes unsightly and leaves rust marks on the sink enamel. When I went to buy a replacement for our existing one, I was dismayed to find that Kohler, once they retired that sink model, had also retired the accessories for it--an annoying move for a product that's meant to last for decades. I was so pleased to find these racks on eBay, and even more pleased that this manufacturer makes them available in stainless steel. It's a high-quality product, attractive, heavy-duty, and sturdy. Good quality, good appearance

Worth the Expense
Great product, but very expensive. Fortunately, not as expensive as replacing the sink, which will last at least another 25 years. Understandable that this stainless rack is expensive since the sink was manufactured in '98. Well made and extremely durable.
I purchased both the sink basket and sink rack in stainless steel and they are extremely well made with a heavy duty feel to them. I have the biscuit sink and have used the biscuit racks but as others mentioned you can't put anything hot on them and they stain, rust, cut and deteriorate. The stainless will last forever. This rack fits my sink perfectly. I compared my old racks to the new stainless ones and they are identical in shape and size. Don't hesitate to purchase these. Yes they are pricey and shipping is high but the racks are definitely worth it.

Better than the original....
