BLOODLINE Suspense Thriller
BLOODLINE is the 1979 movie from the Sidney Sheldon 1977 novel of same name. I remember loving the movie! However, I do wish it had aged better. It is still a fine thriller. However, I believe in the editing process, there were small, but important, cuts made to the DVD. I remember the co-storyline and couldn't figure out how it related to the main story, so that was a bit disappointing. The acting, considering the time period, could have been a lot cheesier, so that's a good grade on the acting. Probably if I had realized it did date to the 70s I may not have gotten it. I don't usually go that far back. I'll go to the 60s...for Gidget and Doris Day movies, then usually bypass the 70s & will go for 80s, as the oldest. I can only hope the DVD for The Other Side of Midnight i(another Sidney Sheldon novel made into a movie) s as gripping as I recall!
