Once you go red........
I have always used an opener from the 1960's that my mother gave me. It's a SUPER opener, all metal parts, etc.. Wanted to try something new, and got one of these. The plastic leg on the first one cracked, but I liked it enough to buy another. If I need to spend less than $10 a year, I will continue to buy this opener.

Can opener
This opener does a good job slicing the lid off. But it leaves a very sharp edge on the can. And unlike similar can openers, the lid does not go back on the can for possible storage.
