It really does the job...
This will mark the second purchase of a cultivator for my property. I was not impressed with the a similiar item I purchased from Lowes (years ago) so I went to E-Bay to check out what they had to offer. I was able to purchase this item for $180.00 and it was shipped for free. I have used it extensively as I prepare my yard for fall seeding and planting (bushes). Now keep in mind this is a cultivator and not a full sized tiller one would use in a large garden set-up. However, it is great at removing weeds and churning up the dirt for smaller projects. I intend to use it next on a 25' x 10' section of my yard to plant bushes and put down mulch. This engine is easy to start and it just seems to sip gas/oil mix. So far, I am extremely happy with how this machine operates in churning ground with ease. The settings are also adjustable to dig at deeper or more shallow angles.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Super hard to start
It is a super great cultivator not a tiller at all. It did a good job for me on my front yard. It takes time to make several passes but it destroyed the weeds and little bit of grass i had. It will do the job for small gardens and yards. My front yard is 400 ft x 150 ft took 2 days. It runs good when it gets started but let it sit for 1 hour takes 30 to 50 pulls to get it running again. I could have just got a bad one or could have a problem with the fuel system. It was cheaper then renting one from the stores so im happy that i got the job doneVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

2019 MC43 gas cultivator
The MC43 was bought for the second time. It is a 2017 model and a 2019 model. The 2017 model had a problem with the engine because I did not replace the air filter and the cylinder was contaminated. So I bought a model in 2019, but it was an exhibition product and there were some parts, so it was a good choice. Its OK at best
It's light, Overall it seems like a good concept but needs to be revamped! Seems to run decent WHEN it starts. Issues right out of the box. Cheap Chinese carbureted 2 cycle engine that you need to shoot with ether otherwise you will be pulling that engine over til you are blue in the face & have water blisters on your hands.
