This Ultrasonic Bark Silencer Actually Worked for Me
I have used some of the cheaper ultrasonic bark silencers and they were hit or miss, mostly miss. I also understand that not all dogs are affected the same by the ultrasonic sounds emitted by these devices, which is sometimes why they are hit or miss. So, with expectations low, I decided to take a chance on these. This has been the best $200 I've spent in a long time and I'm not kidding. I have one silencer on one side of the yard and one on the other and it's shut both of my neighbor's dogs up. I couldn't believe the Dog Silencer Max worked on each side. I don't work for the company that makes these. I'm not paid to endorse them and I didn't receive anything for free. Underwhelming
Have it hooked up for a few weeks to stop next door neighbors dog from barking and the barking hasn’t seemed to change. Sitting around all day w a remote in my hand isn’t something I’ve got time for. I’m plenty within range w the speaker place low and wo obstructions. The 2 dogs are medium in size and selecting the audible tone isn’t something I’ve tried bc the neighbor will hear it and I don’t want to be inconvenienced by having to hear it. Actually worked.
This thing actually improved my quality of life. My entire neighborhood let's their dogs bark non stop. Day, night, and for an hour straight. Dog Silencer Max: Didn’t Work.
Was saddened to find this expensive product doesn’t work on my neighbors dogs. None of them appear to be fazed by this product. I have small dogs to large dogs on many sides of us. Unfortunately, it did not work for our dogs.
I have heard great things about this product, but for some reason it did not affect our dogs one bit. We bought 2 of the MAX versions to install in the back yard, but when we ran the test run with a single unit we discovered that it did not affect our dogs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It actually worked ....
My neighbor has 2 labradors that barked constantly. He had tried 'stop barking shock collars' which the dogs just chewed off each other. Then he tried battery powered 'sonic bark stop devices' from Walmart .. these lasted less than a few days on batteries and then died. So I took the initiative , bought this , gave it to him to try. He plugged it in outside in his back yard with the dogs and 3 days later the barking has stopped. 3 weeks later still no barking. Best $125 I've ever spent. Peace and quiet reigns. 2 weeks installed and I see no difference in barking
I have the device installed 50 feet from the neighbor's fence. It has been two weeks and frankly see little to no difference in the barking pattern of my neighbor's three dogs. Don't bother, waste of money
Gimmick product, doesn't actually work. Device will not pick up barks within 50ft, and only emits ultrasonic sound at 59 decibels at best. Save your money because this product simply does not work at all as claimed. Even triggering manually, because again it can't pick up close range barking, this device has no effect because the sound it is making is so faint dogs simply won't care.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Like an angel from heaven
My first product review. I figured this had a 50/50 chance of working. I was wrong, immediate effect on the neighbors little yapper. Within three days the dog no longer came over to our fence to bark. Instead of 10 barks, no more than 4, and not repeated. Now, two weeks later, the barking is down to a small fraction of what it was. The remote also gives one the feeling that they can do something about it, instead of being powerless. This product paid for itself in uninterrupted sleep in two days. I'm hoping it will train the dog not to bark in its backyard at all, and i am hopeful!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solved my problem!!!!!
I have three Great Danes. Works great on two of them. One it doesn't affect but it stopped them from standing together and barking. I would definaltely recomend this product.
