Good for Blood Thinning & Infection Prevention
I've used this brand and dosage for years now. At least 7 years. I use it to keep my blood thinned and also for its anti-microbial effects. Great at keeping colds and Influenza away. I take mine with a meal or plain crackers to avoid the "garlicky" burp that sometimes occurs if taken on an empty stomach with lots of water. I prefer the regular garlic oil to the odorless. The regular garlic oil seems to be more potent in my opinion. I have a genetic condition which predisposes me to easy blood clotting, which can put me at risk for DVT's or deep vein thrombi. This garlic oil keeps my blood thinned without me having to take expensive and awful (side effects) blood thinners daily like Eliquis, or problematic ones like Warfarin (Coumadin). I don't need the Rx blood thinners using this and Oil of Oregano. I can also enjoy my dark, leafy salads with kale, spinach, and Swiss chard without having to worry about precautions one must take with Rx anticoagulants. Always check with your health care provider before discontinuing any medication. Garlic oil happens to work for me and I have not had a clot/thrombus in many years since including it in my regimen. I take 1 every other day or every 2 days. I take 1 Oil of Oregano 1500mg softgel by Puritan's Pride a day.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
