Exact replacement and easy to install. It works GREAT!

This ice maker is an exact replacement for what was in my 12 year old fridge. It was easy to install and only took a few minutes. Everything lined up, plugged in, and a few hours after installation was complete ice was being dispensed. With 4 of us dispensing ice every day a functioning ice maker is a must. I am very happy.

    Easy fix

Easy to change out! Remove Ice Bucket and remove Phillips screw holding cover plate below Ice maker - may have to use table knife to pop plate out. Disconnect the large connector; push down on tab at top of ice maker and pull out. Install new ice maker, connect cable, replace cover plate, and make sure the "ice" on the control panel is on; reinstall ice bucket. In 12 hours or so, you should have new ice! Throw the first two batches of ice, or put them into houseplants for slow watering! Hope it works for you! Charles

  • Replaced ice maker

I wasn't sure if my ice maker was the issue. Did some research on line and and made the decision to replace it, not only cause it looked easy on video to replace/install, but also the part was less than $100 delivered. A service fee would have been more than that to have a repair man come out. I replaced the old ice maker with the new one and my frig is now producing ice. This was an easy install. I am very mechanical and handy, but this could be done by a novice. There are how to videos on line. Good luck!

  • New Ice Maker for an older Samsung Frig

The Ice Maker went out on my Samsung Frig (we have owned for 10 years). The Frig still looks new and we really didn't want to replace it or pay someone to come out and tell me "The Ice Maker is broken" that will be $300+. I did a little research (installation was very easy (1 phillipshead screwdriver), did more research on the ice makers and they varied in prices from $80-$205 - for the exact same ice maker. I found this one, received it in a good time frame. I cut off the electricity to the Frig and there is only 1 screw & 1 electrical plug to detach the ice maker. I rinsed off the ice maker, let it dry and then replaced it in my Frig. About 1 hour later I heard ice drop (dumped that ice) and I've had ice in the bucket every since.

  • Exact replacement part - I have ice again

Came exactly as advertised. Exactly what I needed to repair my Refrigerator Freezer Ice Maker. After I installed this replacement ice maker ran a test to activate it and get it going (from test button on the side of icemaker). First batch of ice was ready in 3 1/2 hours after installation.

  • Easy to do and save a lot of money.

Our ice maker suddenly stopped working after 8 years. After doing some research and seeing a video on how easy it was to remove and install the unit (one screw), I ordered it and in less then 10 minutes removed the old one and installed the new unit. It's been working like a charm for the past two weeks.

  • Easy to install

Good value for the price, easy to install, make sure you press the reset button until it chimes after installation. You tube videos available. I just wish Samsung would have designed it to last longer. I'm on my 3rd one since 2012

  • Samsung Ice Maker

Perfect fit, of course it should be since it is Mfr. original. Just don't forget to use the Reset button until you hear the chime, then release it. One of the Questions was, "Is it a good value?" All these OEM parts are over priced. So, good value? No options but to buy it.

  • Perfect Fit and worked perfectly

Perfect Fit and worked perfectly for a month now. The installation is super easy. There are videos in youtube. 1 snap and 1 screw. One power connector. It took overnight to start providing ice.

  • Ice maker, Samsung

Pulled the non working unit out, plugged this one in, and Walla, Ice again! The only thing I was not able to understand is why it would not test for me when I tried to press the button. On this refrigerator, the test button is on the side where you can not see it at all, So I ended up trying to use the ball on a glass cutter to press it, but never could make it work, But the unit started making ice so I'm a happy customer.
