  • Better than MKX & MK11, but still has the same issues as before.

While it’s still not up to par with the superior PS5 & Xbox Series ports (not including the PC port because it’s got major issues still as of this writing), Mortal Kombat 1 for the Switch has received some much needed updates that makes it playable for those who either don’t have the other consoles or want to play on the go. As for the game itself, it’s better than Mortal Kombat X & Mortal Kombat 11. But it still suffers from the same issues as the previous entries, such as blatant in-game micro-transactions, paying to unlock certain characters rather than doing it the right way by playing through the game, and SJW/Woke politics affecting things such as the female fighters wearing less revealing clothing and Jax’s arcade ladder ending from MK11, albeit there seems to be less of it here in MK1 this time around. I would say wait until the inevitable complete edition arrives with all the dlc characters and even more content, find a used copy for cheap, or hold off until the game gets uppercutted into the bargain bin.
