Perfect fit for WWII GI Ontario machetes.

It needs some modifications.
The Ontario machete 18" military issue, would not fit in this sheath.. To begin with the rivet for the belt harness would not let the blade enter the opening, Forcing the new blade scratched it. I had to heat the plastic a reform it with a heat gun. After widening the opening away from the rivet, the blade was still difficult to get in and out of the sheath. I used the heat gun to form the sheath while moving the blade in and out. After some mods, the blade finally slide easily in and out.. Great Machette Sheath that is easy on the budget
Great replacement for the canvas sheath I had. Worked perfect. Plastic is sturdy and the holes on both sides allowed me to mount a Molle setup fo be able to mount it to a pack.
