Tim Duncan is one of the greatest NBA legends to grace the basketball court. In his time in San Antonio, he put the San Antonio Spurs on the map. From the moment he joined the team in 1997 as one of their top picks, Duncan set out to prove himself. He brought San Antonio their first championship in 1999 and would become the team leader in 2003. From 2005 to 2014, Tim Duncan brought the NBA Championship back to San Antonio on three separate occasions. On top of this, Tim Duncan was named the NBA MVP no less than three times. This Tim Duncan McFarlane NBA Series action figure is limited to only 6,000 pieces worldwide. The original packaging is in the form of a unique window box depicting the Spurs logo. This packaging also displays what number your action figure is out of 6,000. Like other collectibles in the McFarlane NBA Series line of toys, this Tim Duncan action figure features no articulation. Instead, McFarlane Toys concentrates on making an accurate sculpt that looks almost lifelike in its presentation. The figure is posed taking a jump shot at the basket, a classic Tim Duncan pose. The head sculpt is unmistakably Duncan, complete with a fierce look of determination. McFarlane Toys has dressed Duncan in his white Spurs jersey from the 2014 NBA Finals. This jersey is complete with his team number and the 2014 Finals logo in the corner. Duncan is wearing NBA regulation shorts and socks, complete with NBA logos sculpted onto them. McFarlane Toys even sculpted the tiny details, such as armpit hair in his exposed armpits. Lastly, Duncan is wearing a sports series sneaker, a replica of the actual sneaker he wore during the game. Every wrinkle and fold on Duncan's NBA uniform make this figure look like a miniature version of the real player. The paint work on this figure is exquisite and what any collector expects with a McFarlane figure. The paint on this collectible features no overspray or paint slop. A clear plastic rod inserts into the McFarlane stand with the other end inserted into the player. This plastic rod is sturdy and will keep the McFarlane product held in the air for years on end.
