I modified this kit and made it fit on a 2018 GMC Sierra pickup that was four wheel drive with the 5.3 Ecotec regular cab long bed. I used the valve and used 5/8 heater hose to extend the external filter all the way up into the engine bay to keep dirt out of the valve as this truck's application is used on dirt roads. I appreciate it the electrical connector as the body failed when I unplug the old one as it wouldn't come apart.
