Schumacher Fully Automatic Onboard Trickle Battery Charger
Also known as the"Mighty Mite"in my younger days, I have used them for years. I have one on almost every machine I own that is not driven daily. Not only will it keep your battery charged, But I have found that the battery will last far longer if maintained by this product. I first discovered this product when I was working as a Volunteer Fire Fighter. I was in charge of keeping the Fire Apparatus maintained. One of the problems we faced was Battery Failure. One of my suppliers recommended The "Mighty Mite" & before long ALL the vehicles were outfitted with them. Batteries lasted much longer & most important the batteries were Fully charged when the Alarm came & ready to answer the call. I love this charger!
The "Schumacher Fully Automatic Onboard Battery Charger" would charge old dead battery that my other chargers wouldn't. I leave this charger plugged in on my boat when I am not using it and just let it do it's thing. I have lost so many good batteries in the pass by letting it sit there over the winter. Adequate, does the job
It's a little large to put into most engine compartments. Could use a longer pigtail for either the battery connections or the 110V cord. But it did fit, got the power cord to the grill and can plug in without opening the hood. Works as described in the instructions.
