2-Lamp Socket
Item took extra long to ship. It is a fragile item, being made of bakelite, which is a brittle plastic. Was simply thrown in a plastic shipping bag with no padding or protection of any kind. Both items, I ordered 2, were broke. Pieces of bakelite were broken off where the bulb screws in leaving portions of the aluminum socket exposed. They are still usable, but a shock hazzard. I repaired with electric tape. as I didn't want to go through the hassle and expense of sending them back and waiting another 2 weeks for replacements. Shipping them in a padded mailer or wrapping with bubble wrap would have prevented damage. The items themselves seem to be of good quality if intact.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

As good as always
I bought this two socket lamp fixture to convert a kitchen ceiling light from circular fluorescent to regular type bulbs. The circular fluorescent replacement was available from Home Depot where I bought the ceiling light.I was able to buy smaller curly gas bulbs so the bowl shaped diffuser wouldn't touch.
