I have used these for years, they are my go-to clip instead of covered hair ties as they hold my hair up off my neck. I have always had very fine hair and now it is thinning. I've had to go to using little girls elastics for a pony tail and even they don't stay put. Got this clip and have worn it every day since I got it. I've placed it in the middle of my head, closer to my neck and on top so I could sleep in it. This is a very low profile basic clip that holds fine hair in an updo nicely. It's actually a little too slim for my entire hair to be held in it (I guess I have fine but voluminous hair?!)
